Happy St. David's Day!

I know, I know, I'm a little late, but I just had to share what I got in the mail yesterday! It's so cute! It's from a good friend Verna Angerhofer. She said I put her up to designing this card, just like the one that's on her blog. She did good don't you think?! !

Easter Baskets & Cards

I made fifteen of these Easter baskets for the kids in my Sunday School class out of the small nut cans. They are like the banks I made earlier. The only thing I did differently was to add two punched holes on the sides of the can and thread in tinsel pipecleaners for the handles. I found tiny goodies to put inside. On most of the medallions, I hot-glued a stamped duck (Stampin' Up) to the front. The duck's bow was colored to match the scrapbook paper.

With odds and ends of scrapbook paper that I had left over, I made these cards from a pinwheel technique I found on my friend's Annette's blog. Can you find the matching striped paper?

A Cool Cross Bookmark

Here’s a quick little project to make as a gift, especially if you have some fun background paper left over from another project. I brayered a whole sheet of white cardstock with a rainbow ink pad, then cut it into quarters, for four cross bookmarks. Then I cut small slits across the cross with a craft knife and threaded shiny ribbon through. I added the silk flower and leaves to the center with an eyelet. If you wish, to the back you could stamp “To” & “From” and perhaps a small scripture verse. Easy peasy!
