An Asian ATC

Yesterday was ATC club meeting and our theme was Asian. Here's mine.
My background is a piece of security envelope pattern
with tissue papers glued to the background with a matte gel medium.
I didn't like the feel of the medium because it felt rough like gesso, so I sanded it down with a sanding sponge, then added the embellishments:
Grace, an Asian girl that Mary Engelbreit draws,
Chinese calligraphy sign for happiness, a stamped Asian coin and a gold paint border around the edges. I've been watching videos on gelatos, so tried gel highlighters I purchased from Walmart on this card also.

Nice swap cards:

We had two more gals join us today (the more the merrier),
so we had more to swap and more jam cards to make.
I personally had a blast!

Next month is a circus theme. Now to find a Mary Engelbreit "Jester" or
"Party Bear" rubber stamp! I already know what I'm going to make for the background!

  2. Hello Dolores

I like your Asian ATC. That is a fun club you belong to.

www.circustamps.com has absolutely everything circus, well, not Mary Engelbreit.
The owner presses all our rubber for us, since the beginning
Thought you might like to check it out.

    Thanks for your blog
    Blessings
